For the Global Parts Center Europe located in Breda (Netherlands), we are looking for a fulltime Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
Purpose of the job
As warehouse supervisor you will manage the logistic operation in order to meet the agreed KPI’s and do (make) proposals in order to continuously improve the current process. You will work together with one other warehouse supervisor and one warehouse operations manager.
KEY ACTIVITIES
The Warehouse Supervisor is part of the Operations team located in the office of the Global Parts Center Europe in Breda.
Key activities of the Warehouse Supervisor are:
- Monitoring daily and weekly operational progress against forecast and KPI’s;
- Daily communication with inbound and outbound transport departments on improvements and bottlenecks;
- Daily communication with internal customer on requests regarding performance and/or solutions;
- Planning of warehouse staff together with agency in order to meet KPI’s
- Directly manage the leading hands in the warehouse in order to coordinate productivity and management in the operation.
- Indirectly managing the clerks in the warehouse in order to meet agreed cut offs
- Assure availability of operational resources in order to keep operation running
- Create and maintain a safe and health work environment in order of staff to be able to work
- Contribute to and share ideas for continuous improvement;
- Leading smaller operational change project and actively participate in/contribute to big change projects;
- Actively contribute to teambuilding and employee development, have frequent 1:1 session with reports, team meetings and absent follow-up;
- Support warehouse manager when needed
Profile
For this role we are looking for a strong team builder with a result driven mindset. Our ideal candidate has strong communication and persuasion skills. He/she has creative ideas and will make sure the job is done.
We are looking for an employee with:
- A Bachelor degree
- 3 years supervisor experience in a logistics environment
- Experience in change projects (project management skills are an advantage)
- Good level of English speaking and writing
- Good MS Office skills
- Stress resistance

- Data analytics (excel, access)
- Driving license B and own transportation (extended operations)
