As visual designer at Basic-Fit, you’ll be involved from the early stages in various projects, working together with the UX designer and stakeholders to visualize the solution direction. You will be working with both business stakeholders and technical engineers, helping to further evolve and detail out the solution being worked on.
Your main focus will be on the migration of our websites to a new platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud). For this project, you’ll be working together with our developers (front- and backend), UX designer and analysts in a brand-new Agile team. You don’t need to have experience in the Agile way of working, but it’s important you are curious, like to take ownership and you like experimenting to make Agile working at Basic-Fit a success!
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and development teams;
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets;
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and icons);
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards;
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders;
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback;
Adhere to internal style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Visual Designer;
You can present a portfolio of design projects;
Knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required;
You have a team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the organization;
Good communicating skills in English, a second language (e.g. French, Spanish or Dutch) is a plus;
Ability to understand and respond to business needs in a rapidly changing environment.
