    Validation engineer


    Johnson & Johnson is one of the largest healthcare companies in the world. For the Business Unit Johnson & Johnson Medical devices, located in Leiden, Yacht is looking for a Validation Engineer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project lead for Engineering projects which also includes writing requirement and validation documents, supporting with FAT, SAT and validation testing, technical knowledge of our process and equipment and support or perform trainings to the operators and maintenance;
    • Part of engineering team and therefore implementing safety improvements, embrace standard way of working, support maintenance and calibration department;
    • Support closure of NCRs, CAPAS, audit observations, ergonomics and safety related action items also supports internal and external audit.

    Job is 50% onsite in Leiden/ 50% remote from home.


    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
    • Engineering background with at least 2 years experience in writing requirements and validation documents, preferrably in the Medical device industry;
    • Knowledge of technical processes and equipment;
    • Experience in FPX methodology or other project management tools is a pré.


    Temporary contract until the end of 2021. Salary based on experience, 25 holidays + 11, min. 32 hours per week, 40 hours preferred.
