You are responsible for
In this team you will conduct the following activities:
Analysis/Validation: Translating interaction concepts into visual designs for various screen-based platforms (e.g. web sites, mobile devices, voice, etc.) and the user testing and validation of these
Creation: Creating user experiences. Applying harmonized visual styles that can be used across multiple applications and target users in line with our digital design language system and brand guidelines.
Team: Be apart of multi-disciplinary team (which includes marketing, developers, usability experts, data analysts). Contributing to effective teamwork, receiving guidance and being a pro-active team player
Technology: Understanding and working with technical constraints of UI/display platforms to get the most out of them
Communication: Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually

The Digital UX team is part of Philips Experience Design and aims to set direction and support Philips on all aspects of digital media in marketing; activation, commerce, engagement and marketing innovation. We seek to build the best brand experiences throughout the entire consumer and customer decision journey. We are a growing team of around 30 world-class designers who work in multiple squads & tribes together with our digital marketing & e-commerce colleagues. You will be working out of our Amsterdam office.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing and ecommerce.
Experience in agile mindset and ways of working to test, evolve and validate designs (skillset).
Experience with Sketch, InVision and design prototyping tools, being flexible in adapting towards new tools and way of working
Demonstrable user interface design experience from relevant companies, agencies, institutions or own consultancy.
You have bachelor or master level education in Digital Design/Graphics art design/ Media design or other related disciplines or equivalent professional Visual Design training experience
Knowledge of digital standards such as HTML markup language and CSS style sheet language, as well as other web-based technologies.
Independently drives and executes design solution creation within a multidisciplinary team, thinking holistically in eco-systems
Exceptional design talent with strong attention for detail and quality in the designs you are creating.
Fluent in English, both good written and verbal communication skills
Understands and applies broader business and market context, able to synthesize different perspectives and reframe the design challenge
