    Trainer Supervisor

    Job purpose (responsibility)

    We are looking for a Trainer Supervisor in our current Distribution Center in Rotterdam and moving forward per mid 2021 to the new built DC in Dordrecht. The Trainer Supervisor will be training and coaching supervisors and teamleads and oversee the other trainers within the group.

    In this job you make sure new supervisors and teamleads are trained in the use of WMS, SCI, SuccessFactors, Playerlync and other business application that are being used. Beside that you will help them in communication skills.

    Another part of the job is to (cross)train the already onboard supervisors and teamleaders with the newest knowledge and coach them.

    Ø Train new hired teamleaders & supervisors;

    Ø Train current teamleaders & supervisors with new knowledge;

    Ø Coach teamleaders & supervisors in general;

    Ø Assist trainers when more training capacity is required;

    Ø Develop and maintain training material as well on operational level as on lead-level;

    Ø Work with trainers on improvements of the training-program.

    Lean

    Ø Work with supervisors on creating and maintaining job breakdown sheets;

    Ø Look critically at current processes and get the “why”-questions answered;

    Ø Be a sparring partner for lean-sessions / -projects;

    Ø On own initiative observe flow and revisit JBS’es.

    Other

    Ø Participation to special projects;

    Ø Incidentally backfill supervisor position

    Ø Work on testing and creating training material for the new Dordrecht facility

    Educational/Expertise/Experience requirements

    General knowledge: MS Office, Warehouse Management System preferably knowledge of Manhattan OS17 or newer, usage of SCI-tools;

    Specific knowledge of 1 or more warehouse processes (Active Pick, Outbound, Inbound, RMA, VAS);

    Experience with Lean theory, preferable proven PDCA or A3-skills;

    Good written and verbal English language skills.

    Experience in leading and change management
