    Trade Marketeer

    Job Purpose/Overview
    The purpose of this job is to deliver insights and turn them into a tailored category advice respectively action on shelf, presentation, range and promotions, for both offline, online and omnichannel customers. As such, the Trade Marketer is in close contact with the offline and online shop floor and pro-actively drives business and category growth at our customers in the SPT channel. To realize this, the Trade Marketer works closely with customers, the Category and Sales Acceleration Manager, Marketing & KAM’s and will report into the Customer Marketing Manager Benelux.


    Key Responsibilities
    • Know your off-line and online customers, customers’ performance and opportunities to drive omni-channel category growth
    • Develop customer specific omni-channel Perfect Store strategy (based on pillar strategies) and monitor/optimize regularly
    • Service our off-line and on-line customers best with space management- and (BIG) data consultancy and implement our category vision into shelf layouts per channel/customer
    • Pro-active approach on distribution gain opportunities
    • Develop customer specific omni-channel promotional strategies (based on pillar strategies) and monitor/optimize regularly
    • Develop and deliver period reviews and make deep dives in to segments/customers
    • Evaluate Point-of-Sale materials and continuously drive best-in-class, innovative POS materials to support the prescription of our brand
    • Execute Category Vision into Action projects at your customers
    • Co-pilot the Category manager and KAM’s, participate in account teams


    Context and Scope
    The Trade Marketer works closely with customers, the Category and Sales Acceleration Manager, Marketing & KAM’s and will report into the Customer Marketing Manager Benelux.


    Job Specifications/Qualifications

    Education & Professional Qualifications
    • Higher Vocational (HBO)/ University (WO) degree with an economic background preferably in the area of economics and/or marketing
    Knowledge / Experience
    • 5yrs experience in Trade Marketing, shopper marketing, customer marketing or category management
    • FMCG, A-brands
    • Experience at retailer HQ’s


    Key Functional Competencies & Technical Skills
    • Promotional management, lay out and assortment optimization, category development
    • Strong analytical skills, passion for data
