We are looking for a bilingual Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Echt.
What will you do
In this role you will provide high quality, innovative, technical support for the Johnson Controls Security Products intrusion product range for a diversified customer base and support customer logging technical issues through the provision of telephone and or field support. Furthermore you will provide commissioning and related services inclusive of fault finding, customer and integrator on/off site training and upgrades. You will be responding to 20-30 customer calls daily in a professional and efficient manner, dealing with and resolving issues within SLA times, providing support for working on both application software and hardware products; providing feedback to customer, colleagues and managers and evaluation of products.
As a key player of the EMEA Technical Support Team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to have considerable impact on the company processes and products. You are an important function in the R&D organization with a positive team-player attitude combined with multi-interface approach.
How you will do it
In this position you will have responsibility for:
Responding to customer calls in a professional and efficient manner, dealing with and resolving issues within SLA times.
Providing support for the Johnson Controls Security Products intrusion product range, working on both application software and hardware products.
Providing feedback to customer, colleagues and managers.
Evaluation of products.
Product training when required.
What we look for
Graduation from Electronics or IT combined with strong IT skills.
Previous experience in a support, repair or fault-finding environment.
Windows and Linux desktop skills.
Strong English and German communication skills both written and verbal, any other language is a plus.
Highly motivated, able to develop resilient and positive professional relationships.
Strong technical and product knowledge with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
Quick learner and team worker who provides effective communication to key stakeholders.
Action orientated, self-starter with positive attitude.
Experience working within the Electronic Security (intruder systems) or Communications industry.
Understanding of electronic security products and electrical concepts.
Understanding of networking principals and concepts.
