The Data Protection and Marketing Innovation team is an embedded first line of defense within the Marketing and Partnerships Business Unit whose focus is to manage remedial and proactive projects that are linked to our Privacy, Risk, Security and Compliance ambitions.
Our goal is to future proof marketing and help drive our Privacy-by-Design vision in Marketing & Partnerships.
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of cross-functional projects and management of their inter-dependencies, risks and milestone deliverables.
The successful candidate will have a technical background, have a passion for data and data privacy, within a marketing environment, have a meticulous eye for detail, be a strong project management professional, have superb stakeholder management skills, be someone with superb time management skills, and be proactive and a good team player.
As a Program Manager you will be working with Product Owners, Principal Developers and Managers in Technology, as well as interact with front-end developer and designer customers we deliver to. The programs will include several teams and projects within Core infrastructure and you are responsible for driving efficient execution.
Work with Business, Marketing & Technology leads to define relevant technology projects scope, dependencies, and ultimately, the development plan;
Work with Product Owners and Team Leads to proactively monitor the project progress, dependencies, risks and issues;
Proactively communicate status and resolve issues, initiate solutions to problems as they arise;
Support Product Owners in representing Marketing & Partnerships to the variety of stakeholders including: developers and designers you are delivering services to;
Organize, promote and implement effective programmatic initiatives to help development teams deliver better services;
Ensure the delivery of new products or services meets or exceeds expectation relating to quality and usability, using project goals and definitions you helped develop as a baseline;
Work with Managers of infrastructure to ensure resource management in order to properly deliver as planned as part of your day to day tracking and project monitoring duties;
When necessary, work with 3rd party contributors and ensure seamless integration into the development process;
Manage communications with all stakeholders, internal to the team and across the department as well as with customers and external stakeholders;
Manage dependencies between multiple technical projects, support teams in mitigating issues;
Track, communicate and help manage risks to ensure the successful outcome of technical projects and initiatives
3-5 years+ experience in technical program management
Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred
Previous experience delivering technical programs with a marketing background and channel understanding is required
Understanding of technology (do not need to be a developer or programmer but required to have AdTech or understand Digital Marketing in previous experience, but must be comfortable with and able to communicate about tech specific topics)
Certification in PMP/Prince2 will be preferred
Strong experience of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
Data-driven; strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
