    Lacent is a sister company of Wehkamp and part of the RFS Holding/Wehkamp Group. Lacent is known under the brand name Tinka.

    We are a financial services provider in Point-of-Sale financing solutions like invoice and credit. Till 2018 all services were exclusively distributed in the Wehkamp group to consumers shopping at Wehkamp. In 2019 we started to offer the services to other Retailers, with BCC as a first new customer in February 2019 and recently adding new partners such as Buckaroo and Intersolve.

    Tinka operates in a dynamic environment. We have a long history of 50 years+ for providing customer credit, with a track record in responsible credit scoring over the last years. We are fascinated by the current developments and opportunities in technology and data especially when applied to the financial services industry, transforming ourselves into a full FinTech operation.

We operate under a registered license granted by the Dutch financial regulator AFM and have to comply with their rules, Wft regulations and relevant codes of conduct.


    As Technical Product Manager you are responsible for achieving optimal outcomes for all company goals and thus enabling responsible financial products for our customers. You will support the Head of Product and Head of Technology with setting the vision, strategy and long-term roadmap for product/tech teams. You enable the product/ tech team to be high-performing and successful by creating value driven prioritization, driving outcomes and creating a way of working that includes product discovery and product delivery and scalability. You will be responsible for the bottom-line results of your team(s). Always with our customers, partners and business in mind, you keep stakeholders involved, identify & manage interdependencies and remove impediments.

    On a day-to-day basis you will support a diverse group of people within the product and tech teams, including product owners, designers, engineers, data analysts and various scrum teams by sending and coordinating the relevant topics at the right time. Also you will take ownership and create success for broader topics such as quarterly objectives where you will drive the problem solving, prioritization and results while working together with the product team. You report to the Head of Product who will sprout and collaborate with you to get results.

    To be successful in this position data driven problem solving, stakeholder management, storytelling, scrum, value drivers and coaching team members come by nature for you as a product manager. You are directly responsible for developing individual skills and capabilities within and across teams.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Display best in class PO capabilities that allow you to step in and take the lead if required
    • Establish and foster data driven way of working across teams
    • Shape and distill company wide objectives and key results from a broad set of ideas
    • Support several product teams/owners (e.g. with problem solving & prioritization)
    • Align vision of product teams with overall product strategy and deliver results on the company strategic roadmap
    • Supports head of product with defining overall product strategy & vision based on company strategy, goals and values
    • Build capabilities of product owners and support broader team
    • Supports and stimulates improving our way of working both for product discovery and delivery
    • Develop and maintain relevant reporting for stakeholders (ie progress and ETA)
    • Uncover implicit assumptions and engage/ facilitate/ document rigorous testing of said assumptions
    • Work to make the team's individuals successful on a long term growth path
    • Support teams in key problem solving to help make the answer better and remove impediments
    • Continuous development of the way we work within Tinka Product.

    • University degree
    • At least 5 years experience as a product manager/owner
    • Extensive experience in eCommerce and/or Fintech sphere
    • Experience in working / decision making based on data / business cases.
