As an integral part of the Vanderlande Academy, you will provide solicited and unsolicited advice to our global Vanderlande organization with regards to technical Learning topics. You are an inspirational source for effective technical learning solutions. In co-development with our learning content developers and business stakeholders you will develop learning solutions and learning journeys that enhance employee performance. In addition you will build and maintain the technical course curriculum as well as engage, build and develop the internal trainers community, providing guidance and staying up to date with the latest developments.
You have a deep understanding of the Vanderlande technical landscape. You are a technical expert capable of building the technical curriculum which meets the technical learning needs. You prosper in a dynamic environment, are a result oriented team player with a creative personality and capable of driving projects to completion.
The Center of Expertise for Learning & Leadership is part of the HR organization. The Academy is the vehicle for growing our Skilled & Dedicated People throughout their careers at Vanderlande. It consists of an international team of 25 dedicated colleagues. This team works closely together with the Vanderlande business leaders, our global HR team, employees and a variety of trainers in- and outside of Vanderlande.
The Vanderlande Academy organization is a global organization, in 3 regions; North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
Your qualifications and skills
If you’re an experienced, enthusiastic and versatile technical learning programme manager, you will excel at:
Defining, scoping and co-developing technical learning solutions. Development is done with a learning content developer or 3rd party learning solution developer.
Identifying learning needs and providing advice to colleagues, teams and departments on learning and development related topics. This includes solutions that bring learning closer to the learning (in the flow of work).
Coordinating the execution of technical trainings in cooperation with trainers and VI support office.
Creating training plans in alignment with corporate programmes and initiatives when required.
Developing and maintaining the technical curriculum in cooperation with other learning consultants according to learning needs.
You are co-owner of the course curriculum and therefore the first point of contact for the organization. It’s your responsibility to ensure that the course offerings meets the development need of the organization.
Project manage the development of multiple learning solutions ensuring these are delivered according to the predetermined criteria.
Some additional requirements are:
Adult learning experience or a strong motivation and willingness to learn the fundamentals of educational psychology and sciences
Technical/Engineering degree (bachelor/master).
Ideally experienced in successfully setting up, developing and implementing learning solutions in a technical environment.
Excellent in English, both written and spoken.
Being a good listener, flexible, excellent influencing and communication skills.
Excellent project management skills, process and value chain driven and customer focused.
