    Technical Consultant - Future Workplace

    The role:
    SoftwareONE is seeking an M365 Technical Consultant for an exciting role with our Future Workplace team. The successful Technical Consultant will be involved in pre-sales, architecture and implementation of cloud-based solutions to a wide variety of customers. Your role is to deliver our portfolio with excellence on a daily base and helping our customers to transform within the Workplace area.

    Core Responsibilities:
    • Consultant-level customer engagement on Office 365/Cloud architectures and strategy
    • Contribute to running our Future Workplace practice and develop our M365 capability
    • Own delivery responsibilities for client engagements, including but not limited to Office 365 Migrations and transformations, application migration/modernization, security & identity assessments and networking assessments and design.
    • Deliver technical leadership and architecture on our engagements, and provide feedback around the evolution of the solution
    • You provide Office 365 focused sales support, including estimating, high-level solution development, cloud strategy, and workshop delivery
    • You shape end-to-end solutions and solution architectures for M365, including estimation, solution planning and collaborating with the appropriate teams to create the optimal client outcome
    • Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of SoftwareONE’s products, services and solutions
    • Frequently produces content for the service community internally and externally (community, blogs, whitepapers, ...)
    • Coach and mentor less experienced IT engineers and avail of every opportunity to impart knowledge to others
    Job-specific Responsibilities:
    • Provide Advisory services (to smaller customers) and Delivery Subject Matter expertise (larger customers) to help customers understand the value that technology can bring to enable their business
    • Responsible for the Advisory Deliverable creation and presentation to customer stakeholders
    • Contribute to Design Deliverables to ensure solution implemented is aligned to required project outcomes.
    • Able to independently complete solution implementations.
    • Able to learn quickly, and keep pace with rapid changes in the cloud space, including the introduction and deployment of new cloud platforms and tools.

    What we need to see from you:
    • Minimal 5 years of relevant experience required as a Systems Integrator or within a large organisation (>5000 users) implementing complex IT solutions
    • Industry certification focused on specialist Solution area (Future Workplace)
    • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Office365 platform, the EMS portfolio and ideally also Horizon, Windows Virtual Desktop and PowerPlatform.
    • Scripting and programming experience/background in PowerShell
    • Advanced Project Management experience
    • Advanced Consulting skills
    • Advanced business writing skills for customer deliverables · Customer solution presentation for complex solution designs (Ability to articulate the business value on complex solutions)
    • Presales support (Articulating service value in the sales process) / Up and cross sell capability
    • Contribute to knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project).
    • Experience and desire to work in a technology consulting environment that requires regular (20%) travel
    • Proficient in both English and Dutch language.
