For our Engineering & Maintenance department at Abbott Nutrition based in Zwolle (NL) we are looking for a:
Team Manager Maintenance
The Team Manager Maintenance is responsible for all production line related maintenance activities for the Zwolle site. Improve the short, medium and long-term effectiveness and quality of the technical production equipment, to ensure all direct and indirect production equipment on site is available for full use for the maximum amount of time possible against the appropriate cost and in a sustainable manner. The Team Manager will lead several (12 FTE) direct reports and improves the effectiveness of the team (members).
Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage and improve the maintenance and improvement program for all the present and new (machine) equipment of the Zwolle site.
Responsible for Technical Warehouse.
Bring the department to the next level: Maintenance Excellence.
Responsible for managing finance.
Develop and implement a reliable program for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
Liaise closely with the Technology and Engineering group to contribute / execute technical and innovative (capital) projects. Ensure support and participation by the department.
Define, propose and implement objectives and best practices within the department.
Follow up, regularly review and improve departmental work methods, procedures and organization.
Develop the long-term plan for technical replacements (LRP).
Communicate to management the results and developments achieved by the department.
Decides and prioritizes on continuous improvement actions for the maintenance activities.
Initiate and implement improvement actions projects at department level.
Bachelor degree degree in technology, engineering or other relevant disciplines; proven leadership skills.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational businesses.
preferably experience in managing a maintenance department before.
