What do we offer?
As a Tactical Partner Manager you are responsible for the securement of quality and continuity of external service delivery, and guarding the contracts, an efficient delivery of agreed service delivery (projects, support, operation) and controlling the IT-service delivery according to the demands and wishes from the business and product organization. The Tactical Partner Manager reports directly to the Head of Technology Engagement.
In this position you will have the following focus:
Tactical Partner Management
Develop Partner/vendor/supplier strategies and bring them into execution;
Contribute to the development, the maintenance and the execution of a companywide IT partner/vendor/supplier management strategy;
Define scope of services of partner/vendor/supplier;
Relation Management: develop partner/vendor/supplier policies, collaboratively with Procurement (service typology, preferred suppliers, framework agreements); maintain a solid relationship with internal and external partners/vendors/suppliers on a strategic / tactical level; develops partnerships when required;
Performance management: ensure that service delivery meets the expectations and the contractual obligations regarding the suppliers, law and regulations; Setup of maturity models, judgement of partner/supplier performance and realize contract value; Contribute to rationalization, evaluation and development of the supplier performance and -relations regarding the service delivery, products and projects to identify opportunities and improvements
Risk Management: Setup and maintenance of the risk management dashboard; Control and manage supplier risks in a dynamic multi-sourcing organization.
Management of the quality and continuity of the service delivered by a supplier:
Supervises the Service Manager on the quality and delivery of services provided by partner/vendors/suppliers
Ensures a fit for purpose governance between partners/vendor/suppliers and the Tech organization
Ensures an adequate handling of issues and escalations on service delivery and contracts
Develop and guide Service Managers on content, process, and building (long-term) partner relationships
Management of contracts and assets, including financial perspective
Supervises the capture of agreements in contract by Contract Managers in collaboration with Procurement and Vendor Management
Ensures a correct execution of the contractual agreement from a buyers’ perspective
Develop and guide Contract Managers on content, process, and building (long-term) partner relationships
Contributes to a cost-effective delivery of services to comply with business and customer needs
Delivers a contribution for a competitive price and regularly checks this
Relevant Bachelors’ degree (e.g. Business Administration or IT Management or Economics)
10+ years of relevant experience in vendor management, contract management and service management
Expert knowledge of supplier- and contract management field of expertise
Knowledge and experience with ITIL, ASL, BiSL and Cobit
Affinity with technology and experience or affinity with relevant rules and regulations
Detail oriented, analytical, precise and capable of identifying trends and opportunities for efficient and better performance
Relevant experience in an international environment
Social skills for intensive alignment, negotiation, discussions and advise towards suppliers
Excellent communicative skills in English, Dutch is preferred.
