As a System & Cloud Administrator, you will be a key member of the IT Infrastructure team. You are mainly responsible for maintaining our systems and supporting our colleagues for all matters IT. Together with your team you will also upgrade our infrastructure to obtain the best possible situation regarding performance and security. You will be based at our headquarters in Leiden, but you will also be providing solutions for all our offices abroad.

Tasks & Responsibilities

This is dynamic role with varied tasks, but your activities will among other things include:

• Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and upgrade our systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, application, server, and network issues.
• Provide third line support (but you don’t shy away from first and second line when needed).
• Participate in planning of the IT architecture. Identify gaps and areas of improvement.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Skills & Competences

There is not a set route to become a great System & Cloud administrator at Flex IT, but to be successful in this role, you should recognize yourself in this profile:

• MBO+ degree in IT, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in MS system administration (MCSA, MCSE).
• Experience with cloud solutions, preferably Azure.
• Experience with VMware and Veeam.
• Experience with SAN, DNS, DHCP, active directory.
• Experience with telco systems, RDP and MDM.
• Experienced in providing support. TOPdesk experience is considered a plus.
• Organized, practical, and helpful. Experience with TFS and ITIL is considered a plus.
