To support our team of safety experts within SSC-SHE, but also the safety experts in the departments, we are looking for a Safety Support Specialist.
You are the spider in the web of our safety column. You will support the Safety Experts in their daily activities, such as drafting policy, realizing reports, managing and improving our own processes and providing publications. You will also help to stimulate and promote the safety culture within organization.
Your most important duties:
Based on the Safety Vision and the Safety Roadmap, you will be responsible for the further improvement of our reports, publications, setting up and managing the SHE documentation system;
You support the prevention advisor by coordinating/monitoring, consolidate and register the organization-wide Risk Inventory & Evaluation;
You will keep track of the department’s processes and procedures related to the management safety system;
You coordinate and monitor the safety walks within the organization and you summarize the recommendations coming from the safety walks;
You manage and coordinate the activities that arise from the Safety Inbox;
You will manage our incident management system ‘Zenya’.
You have a demonstrable HBO work and thinking level. Having a Bachelor Safety & Security Management Studies (Integrale Veiligheidskunde/MVK/HVK) diploma is an advantage;
You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a supportive role;
You have relevant work experience in a larger complex and/or technical environment, experience in the energy industry is a plus;
You have knowledge of and experience with automated systems and applications.

You can cope well with working in a changing environment; You are able to work independently and under considerable pressure;
You have good communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in Dutch and English. German is an advantage;
You have a positive attitude with a sense of humour and a proactive ‘can do’ mentality.
