About the Role
As part of the Global Governance team, this role supports the implementation of the global strategy across Africa.
The Supply Risk Specialist will act as a coach and guide on technical risk and assurance on meeting Diageo standards, targets and capabilities. They will work with internal stakeholders on improve projects to build capabilities and controls to confirm compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as good business practices.
The role is key to assure Diageo processes globally via codified leading systems and will enable leading levels of regulatory compliance, acknowledging that accountability belongs at site level.
This role is accountable for managing global and market formal risk analysis, planning and mitigation and Global Risk Management Standards and will lead key programmes for improve and transform. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of auditing, quantifying problem areas and poor performance, identifying root causes and mitigations within the African region.
We’re looking for an individual with a drive to be the best: great engagement and communication skills, experience of coaching and influencing a range of stakeholders for success.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record in projects, change programmes and cross-functional team working with a competency in risk and assurance.
A degree in a science related or governance discipline with experience in a manufacturing environment with excellent knowledge of supply chain standards and relevant legislation is desirable for this role.
