Supply Chain Project Manager
Exciting role for academics with 10+ years’ work experience and interest for high tech and supply chain. ASML is looking for a very ambitious talent who can play a crucial role in the supply chain processes close to our customers. Within the Customer Supply chain management (CSCM) organization of ASML we are looking for a Project Manager helping us driving the key projects within CSCM.
The project management and support encompasses the total scope of initiatives carried out and / or supported by the CSCM staff. We are looking for an experienced professional, someone who can liaison with the CSCM business leaders & other stakeholders involved using proven methods and helping us to reach a higher level of project management maturity.
Within the CSCM organization, the Service management Excellence & ONE department is responsible for
Delivery of the project roadmap and associated project portfolio mgmt. system
Delivery of all major Non-Product-related structural improvement projects
Support of large programs like ONE and represent the CSCM organization in such programs
Supporting this mission, you will act as project manager for improvement projects within the CSCM priority projects portfolio.
You will be responsible to setup and drive projects…..
Identify & initiate projects and get required support to start projects
Manage project deliverables within the triple constraints
- Build-up good work relation with stakeholders within- and without own department (e.g. CS + 3PL) and have frequent contact with different teams in the field
Deploy (world-wide) projects in regions and train stakeholders (different levels, different departments)
And support project portfolio management:
Build understanding of the existing strategy and running projects in CSCM and how they tie together.
Be part of defining and identifying new projects and strategies
Relevant Master degree is a must (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)
Project, Program and Portfolio management knowledge and experience (10+ years) in a large international company (industry or consultancy), ideally Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Customer Support background
Track record of leading process improvement projects;
Experience with LEAN and AGILE.
Very experienced in delivering, processes, and IT solutions;
Experience with SAP /APO PPDS and ECC are a strong pre;
Experience with 3rd party logistics (3PL’s, including integration of IT systems) is also a desired.

Context of the position
In this position you report to the Manager CSCM SM Excellence & ONE.
The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable logistics services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the logistics aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments and transfers.
