Our Exciting Opportunity
Within the Hardware Services unit the "Supply Chain Data Scientist" will work closely in a team responsible for developing data analytics within our spare part management environment. Together with the team, you are going to work on the data foundation. You will also support the business by creating insights in our supply chain and overcome exciting operational issues with your analytical skills!
Our objective is to become a data driven supply chain within the organization, and within this perspective we drive improvements and seek for innovative solutions!
Gather, interpret and analyze data by using statistical techniques and develop valuable business insights and visualizations
Assess different data sources and collect, clean and improve data in collaboration with the business
Craft the transformation towards a data driven organization and a better data culture within Hardware Services
Feel free to explore and be curious about new developments in the field of data science and data analytics and apply them for Hardware Services
Grow with the data analytics department towards more advanced and mature analytics techniques, such as predictive, prescriptive and fully automated/algorithmic capabilities.
Cooperate and build positive relationships with analytical drivers in different Ericsson units, like tools, group analytics and Sourcing & Supply.
To be successful in the role you must have
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and present significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability as a data analyst in a supply chain environment
Mix of robust business and supply chain understanding (preferable in spare part management), business application architecture knowledge and advanced analytical techniques understanding
Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate ideas, drive solutions and challenge current ways of working
Ability to enter new territory, push data analytics forward and make it work for Ericsson HWS
Ability to engage with different partners across different cultures in a global job
