    Supply Chain Analyst - Customer Order Management

    Outline of Role

    Working as part of the Materials team, reporting to the Operations Manager. Responsible for delivering high quality customer service to both external and internal customers of CES products, globally.

    Follows the customer order management process to facilitate successful order fulfilment for all customers in pursuit of plant and corporate on time delivery (OTD) objectives. Addresses problems and concerns by investigating, analysing and coordinating cross-functional problem-resolution and improvement initiatives.


    -Efficient customer order management through:

    -Maintenance of Oracle Order Management to process EDI, schedules, spot orders, customer portals

    -Active involvement in executing the demand plan in line with customer and business processes

    -Strong customer internal and external relationship management

    -Various communication channels including email, telephone, conference calls, customer meetings

    -Schedule v Forecast analysis – trends, data analysis, abnormal demand

    -Ensure OTD to customers through:

    -Work cross functionally with production control, planning, account management & logistics

    -Communicating and escalating issues in a timely manner and drive resolution of problems and issues.

    -Engage / communicate with key contacts and stakeholders

    -Internal & external customers – regarding product, service and relationship management improvement (VOC)

    -Account Management – coordinate pricing changes, VPI, Forecasting (SBP) and relationship management improvements

    -Quality – Manage impact to customer delivery performance caused by non-conforming materials and control the return of before in service items.

    -Engineering – Ensure on time introduction of new / changing parts in line with product introduction/change processes

    -CES management – In reporting of variety of information including: customer OTD, order management issues.

    -Support achievement of plant goals for customer on-time delivery through:

    -Reporting and development of plant customer OTD performance indicators

    -Participate in cross-functional and cross-business unit activities to improve customer delivery performance

    -Creation and completion of corrective actions in support of IATF16949 quality system processes

    -Improve functionality of Oracle MRP in pursuit of business targets

    -Coordinate order management in support of new model introduction activities.

    -Foundations of Planning and Control (FPC) – contribute to demand planning in alignment with production and warehouse capacity through analysis of data and feedback on abnormal demands
