As a Housekeeping Supervisor you have the task to assist the manager in leading and coordinating the work within the housekeeping department. This task relates to room cleaning, but also to the cleaning of public spaces, corridors, stairwells, canteens, locker rooms, toilets and any fitness / gym. You report technical defects and check whether repairs have been carried out.

What we ask from you:
1+ years of housekeeping experience
1+ year experience working as a floor supervisor in the housekeeping department
Experience in overseeing work
You are familiar with observing the Arbo-rules
Flexible in working hours and activities
Attention must be paid to the standards, but also to the set budgets. You keep an eye on this. You control the work of the linen room, the general service and the public spaces.
You also perform operational tasks yourself (which are included in the job description of General Cleaning Officer). For example, you assist with replenishing the linen and other supplies that are necessary for a good execution of the activities of the Room Attendants. You also check whether all work is carried out in accordance with the Arbo guidelines / fire safety measures of the hotel and that there is a good atmosphere in the housekeeping department, so that everyone can work in a pleasant environment.
You are also responsible for:
Making a distribution of the rooms to be cleaned in an efficient manner
Responsible for issuing and collecting keys and checking that all keys are present
Ensure sufficient stock of guest amenities
Checking the cleaned room and ensuring that they meet the standards of a clean room again
Training, training and stimulating the team
Ensure that the Room Attendants have cleaned all rooms at the end of their service, within the set productivity standard
Ensure that lost and found is registered and handled as described by the hotel
