Janssen Vaccines is currently looking for a new Facilities Supervisor in the Vaccines Department. You will be working in an essential part of our organization: without our facilities, we’d be nowhere.
You will be the liaison with the business supporting the availability of a sparkling workplace for over 700 employees and other users. The responsibilities of the Facilities Supervisor are very diverse, with a focus on supervising and directing all aspects of operations, maintenance and improvements. You make sure that we are complying with Good Manufacturing Practice and Environmental Regulations and do so in collaborations with around 50 employees. You are in contact with the business, with external stakeholders and operational staff. Besides the daily tasks, you are involved in exciting improvement projects, for example in improving our security or catering. All of this with the ultimate goal of making our Vaccines Department run smoothly.
Managing of the Vaccines Facilities to ensure all users have an inspiring workplace
Interfacing with business contacts to identify future needs
Actively participated in the strategic plans development for the JVP business
Collaborates with the Facility Management Global organization to actively input and deploy best practices and Global Facilities improvement programs searching business operations
Act as Facilities subject matter expert for regulatory audits and capital investment justification
Adopts and deploys EHS systems ownership through the facilities team
Drive the project portfolio for the JVP site to drive implementation of improvement initiatives
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to the site management level
Supervising and overseeing all in-house and subcontracted facilities services activities in partnership with the Service Provider Sodexo
Ensure compliance of the facility and services with the lasts GxP and Safety requirements
Give guidance and direction to the service provider in order to achieve a year on year improvement of facilities services
Motivate and inspire the employees and service providers to achieve an inspiring work environment
About the candidate
You have a college (HBO) education or Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum, for example in industrial engineering and management (technische bedrijfskunde), or equivalent.
You have around 5-7 years of experience working in an industrial or Research & Development environment
You have an affinity with technical management, facilities, hospitality and improvement projects
You thrive in a dynamic environment where no day is the same
You have excellent communication and leadership skills and love working with people on different organizational levels
You speak English fluently… Speaking Dutch is a plus!
