    Supervisor, Accounting

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage part of the accounting team to ensure compliance with SOX, financial policies and internal control.
    • Work close with the Compliance manager ensuring all local deadlines will be met.
    • Contribute to prioritization of projects and business improvements.
    • Perform training and mentoring of General Ledger team individuals.
    • Correct and timely month-end close for the entities under supervisor’s responsibility.
    • Provide analysis to explain monthly results to management and other SSC customers.
    • Coordination and preparation of data for external and internal accountants and support.
    • Ensures compliance with statutory, legal and tax requirements.
    • Ensures that the books are kept under US-GAAP and local GAAP.
    • Supports local tax audits and statutory government audits.
    • Gives advice about opportunities for process improvements and implementation of the agreed improvements.
    Required Skills
    • ERP experience (SAP) is essential.
    • 8 or more years working experience in Accounting/Finance preferably in an international shared service center.
    • 5+ years of management level experience with consistent track record for achieving assigned goals and objectives.
    • Internal reporting for higher management.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong English communication skills – verbal and written. Second language preferred.
    Education, Certifications & Licenses
    • Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent.
    • Thorough understanding of financial statements.
    • General US GAAP knowledge.
    • Project management training preferred.
