About the role

We are looking for a S&P Associate to join the EATS EMEA Strategy & Planning team to help lead cross-functional, strategic projects across the EMEA (and potentially global) Eats business; elevate the effectiveness of the EMEA Leadership Team by refreshing team cadence; deliver high-quality, strategic insights founded on analytics to drive business change and actions

We're looking for someone who has that mix of abilities to build things from the ground up and get stuff done, as well as the strategic and creative thinking necessary to drive creative solutions.

What you will do

• Support strategic initiatives and special projects: Deep dive into strategic business challenges or opportunities, structure analysis and deliver recommendations using our internal data
• Drive insights through advanced reporting and analytics framework: Define and quantify core business metrics, develop analytical frameworks and dashboards to empower operations teams with reliable sources of data and insights driving both day-to-day decision-making and long-term strategic-setting
• Support strategic planning of the business: Support strategic planning efforts of Uber Eats EMEA, helping forge the strategic focus and financial planning through a deep number-driven attitude
• Governance: Supporting leadership with day-to-day governance of the business, including building reports on key success metrics, setting up business reviews, and designing internal comms

What You'll Need

• At least 2 years of proven experience in a Tech Company, Operational Management, Consulting and/or Banking
• You hold a degree in Business/Economics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
• Proficient in SQL. Coding languages such as R and/or Python experience a plus
• Demonstrated experience of running detailed quantitative analysis, interpreting data and presenting results in structured deliverables
• Demonstrated experience in communicating analysis and recommendations, structuring narratives to convey complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Steadfast focus on the details, while keeping strategic priorities top-of-mind
• Positive and collaborative "can-do" attitude. Resourceful and innovative mindset
• Comfortable venturing into unknown territory and learning new things/technologies in order to find solutions
