STRATEGY DELIVERY MANAGER AT IMC To strengthen our highly talented team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a dynamic and proactive Project Delivery Lead to support our trading operations. The successful candidate will play a multi-faced role in support of IMC’s trading business. You will be partnering with the Trading Leads to translate the trading strategy goals into actionable plans and taking an active role in projects with immediate impact. You will engage with internal and external parties to ensure that the trading desks meet their objectives and strategic goals. You feel comfortable collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders including our traders, developers, engineers, and compliance & legal professionals as well external partners and exchanges. You have natural talent to structure complex problems, coordinate between teams, and switching between tasks and roles on the fly.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: In this role you will act as a business enabler. Success will result in faster delivery of projects, more cost efficient operation of the trading desks, the meeting of regulatory and legal obligations and an increased ability for our trading desks to swiftly adapt to new information and circumstances
Deliver strategic desk objectives and remove obstacles through iterative planning and coordination between teams across Trading, Technology and Business Support teams
Enable access to new markets or products through research and implementation of the technical and business requirements from Exchanges, regulators, clearing and IT partners
Identify opportunities in operating costs of the trading strategy to optimize profitability
Business development: establish and maintain business relations with Exchanges, brokers and strategic IT partners
Coordinate Exchange and Broker connectivity projects including but not limited to: order process, information gathering, liaising with internal teams and external parties
Stay up to date with Exchange migrations and coordinate the required preparation internally
WHO YOU ARE:
At least 5 years’ experience in (IT) project coordination/management/support or a customer service role
Experience in the area of exchange connectivity or electronic trading
Understanding of trading infrastructure, market structure and required connectivity at a high level
Previous experience with Exchange migrations management is a plus
Good interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate across different teams between different geographic locations
Excellent communicator, strong command of English as business language
Self-starter, able to work productively under minimal supervision
Sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and sound time management skills
Excellent trouble-shooting skills; ability to solve problems creatively and proactively
High degree of flexibility and adaptability – you embrace change in a rapidly evolving environment
Familiarity with JIRA or other ticketing systems is a plus
