    Strategic Workforce Planning & Org Design Lead is the world’s #1 accommodation site and the 3rd largest global e-commerce player.     In this role you will lead’s Strategic Workforce Planning and the job structure governance process. This role partners directly with HR Advisory, Organisation & Employee Success (OES), Talent Acquisition, Finance and Business Leaders to translate business strategy into workforce planning and budget. This will include Organisation Design, job structure and job levelling.

    The role will work hand in hand with OES/Talent management to include succession planning and promotion process and with Talent Acquisition to map external talent.Organisation effectiveness (span and layers) is a key component of the role.


    • Lead the quantitative analysis and predictive modelling for the purpose of:
      • Analysing an organisations future workforce needs against internal and external labor markets to identify potential shortfalls and design interventions to fill the gaps
      • Conducting “what if” scenario planning and analysis to identify the return and impact of specific HR initiatives
      • Developing a workforce plan and associated talent management strategies (e.g. build vs. buy) to support the required future workforce
    • Together with business leaders translate strategy into key jobs / roles that are critical for the success of the strategy. Understand what jobs will appear and disappear
    • Identify which knowledge / skills / competencies are needed or will become obsolete and when
    • Analyse the availability of these skills and competencies within the company both quantitative and qualitative and identify the gap
    • Analyse the availability and costs of these talents outside the company and where you can find them at what price
    • Develop strategies and (cost) scenarios to bridge the gap (talent acquisition, talent development, …) including availability, probability and the best ways to contract them (permanent, temporary, contractors, …)
    • Advise business leaders on how to shape their structure and jobs today in order to balance today's needs with tomorrow's requirements.
    • Review the span and layers to drive organisation effectiveness
    • Overseeing the job structure and ensure an up-to-date job map across the organisation in accordance with the business and compliance requirements
    • Proactively upskill and advise stakeholders (incl. job and organisational design trainings, informing managers, HR Advisory and recruitment on the job structure process updates)
    • Ensures that the organisational structures of Booking are in alignment with the set Organisational Design principle and best in class organisational design metrics.


    • 8-12 years experience in a role focussed on Organisational Design and/or Workforce Planning
