FULFILMENT CENTRE STOCK CONTROLLER
For too long, it’s been prohibitively difficult for city dwellers to get into gardening. In an era of same-day delivery, the best plant retailers are offline and out of town. Even in the age of urbanisation, there is a complete lack of brands that are relevant to urban gardens. And, in a world where information is ubiquitous, few people have knowledge about plants or would know where to start.
At Patch, we want to change that. We want to make it simple for people to buy the right plants for them and their space, be it indoors or out. We want to equip them with inspiration and know-how so they can confidently look after their plants and we want to provide superb service and convenience.
Having attracted over 175,000 customers with a 9.2/10 rating on Trustpilot and 150,000 plant fans on Instagram, we were recently voted 28th in StartUps 100 2020 and raised over £7m in funding to scale rapidly across the UK and Western Europe.
What’s the opportunity?
In September 2019 we launched our fulfilment centre (FC) in Aalsmeer; the heart of the European horticulture industry. Use of metrics to report on individual stock control performance and review these with the team.
You will work with our FC manager to test and implement new processes in the FC which will be focussed on improving our stock control and unit economics.
Develop new inventory processes and systems to improve our picking efficiency
Maintain our high standards in data capture and stock reporting
Work with our retail team to diagnose and reporting issues and develop dashboards to illustrate our stock control performance and accuracy
