    Staff Functions HR Security Officer

    Vattenfall have a mission to be the enabler of a fossil free living within one generation. I order to be successful in this we need to work actively to protect our assets as well as our people. To become even stronger, we now need to recruit a HR Security Officer (SF HR SO) for Staff Function.
    Staff Function HR strives to add significant value to the business, supporting Vattenfall’s strategy by developing people to develop our business. SF HR also aim to further develop their processes so that managers are able to use their time efficiently and effectively when working with HR related tasks.
    Governance & Metrics is responsible for the development of our People and HR IT strategies as well HR analytics, governance and compliance. By improving the efficiency of the organisation, the department contributes significantly to the ongoing transformation of HR in Vattenfall.
    In your role you will be the most senior security person in SF HR, you report to the Vice President Governance & Metrics and functionally to the Corporate Staff Function Security Officer (SF SO).
    Main responsibilities:
    • Functional lead and development of the security work in SF HR together with Staff Function Security Officer.
    • Implementing the governance model and general principles concerning Security & Resilience Management and define related roles and responsibilities within SF HR.
    • Set up the SF HR specific security program and annual planning in line with Vattenfall Group requirements action plan and full implementation.
    • Review and assist in the development of risk mitigation plans.
    • Periodically report the situational picture to HR Management Team and SF SO.
    • Advise, train and support risk owners in implementation of security risk responses and follow up on their implementation.
    • Work with Protective Security and Security Risk Assessment with support of SF SO.
    • Monitor to ensure adherence to internal rules and relevant external regulations related to security and resilience, including implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Proactively identify and prioritise the need for specific security initiatives and activities within SF HR in dialogue with the HR organisation, SF SO and CS&R.
    • Drive the Business Continuity and Risk Management processes of SF HR.
    • HR point of contact for Security, Risk Management and Business Continuity towards Group Stakeholders.
    Your profile and qualifications:
    We are looking for a security officer who engages with other key stakeholders, to find the best solution to a challenge. Communication, self-drive and proactivity are key success factors in this position.
    • Academic degree within relevant area to security or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant position in a corporate or government environment.
    • Experience of Swedish Protective Security (Säkerhetsskydd) and current knowledge of relevant security legislation.
    • Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and a strong command of our corporate language English.
    • Good knowledge of the Swedish authorities’ working methods.
