    For the development and execution of the Janssen Supply Chain Quality – Quality Data and Metrics Reporting within the Janssen Supply Chain Quality organization, we are looking for an experienced

    Sr. Specialist Data Analytics Quality

    The Sr. Specialist Data Analytics Quality is responsible for the continuous improvement, standardization and automation of quality data analysis and reporting in the areas of Janssen Supply Chain Quality. This includes Quality Reporting (site and platform Quality and performance reviews, JSC Quality score cards, risk registers), Cost of Quality and Quality Metrics in support of Site Quality teams and the Global JSC Quality organization.

    The incumbent builds insights from data through advanced visualization and trending and drives proactive quality, continuous improvement, and cost awareness. Collaborates with site teams, global groups, and leadership teams to mine data and to communicate their metric insights and trends and translates these insights together with partners into relevant improvements through JJOS/JJPS methodologies.

    Principal responsibilities:

    Acting Data Scientist to identify trends, patterns and opportunities in the Q&C performance data to enable JSC Quality strategy and deliver value through data insights. Analyze causality and formulate improvement proposals, and convert the insights with business teams to actions. This includes application of key Data Science skills, including:

    • Business intelligence
    • Data pipelining
    • Statistical analysis
    • Data modeling
    • Data visualization
    • Ad-hoc data analysis and reports in support of business units across the organization

    Periodic Quality metric reporting and Quality Business Performance Management data analysis and reporting. Including extracting performance indicating data from systems used within the organization, visualizing, and analyzing the data, and preparing data reports.

    • Convert business objectives into technical/data challenges and opportunities
    • Convert data insights into actionable business and Quality programs and objectives with measurable business outcomes
    • Develop a coordinated and consistent approach to Quality data collection

    Establishing relationships with global groups and the operational Business Units and Quality Units will be central. Collaborate with these groups to standardize and optimize data collection. Aid visualization from Quality Systems, to provide timely and reliable Quality data and metrics, and to build insights to drive business decisions for JSCQ.


    Knowledge, Skills and Ability requirements:

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Data Science or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience
    • Advanced understanding and knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik), statistics, data trending and MS Office environment is required. In depth knowledge of Tableau preferred.
    • Experience and knowledge of advanced analytical tools and software (Python, R) and the MS AZURE environment is required
    • Ability to efficiently communicate throughout the different levels of the organization and to drive local improvements through use of JJPS and JJOS methodologie is preferred.
    • Basic understanding of quality processes (batch release, investigations, complaints, audit and inspection management, training) and related systems such as TrackWise, eLIMS, ComplianceWire is preferred.
