The Booking.com App Partnerships team, part of the Global Commercial Partnerships Organisation is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join us on our journey to make our App the #1 Travel App in the world.
The role will be responsible for driving and executing on the strategy and growth of a portfolio of global app install partners. The install methodologies can vary from pre-installs via device manufacturers to advertising campaigns via various types of networks.
The ideal candidate must have a proven experience in setting up and implementing digital advertising campaigns, (including App distribution strategies) in a variety of environments such as advertising and affiliate networks, distribution partnerships, startups, SEO, SEM.
Furthermore a successful track record of delivery against (ROI) targets, optimizing against set KPIs and being well versed in tracking technologies employed in the context of app tracking (MMPs) to prevent fraud and drive value for the business.
A solid technical and analytical background, strong understanding of the online (app) distribution and install network landscape including programmatic expertise, ruthless prioritization skills and commercial acumen are key requirements.
Manage, own and strengthen global relationships with our largest app partners
Identify, scope new growth opportunities to maximize business impact
Understand partner's needs and future plans, seek pragmatic solution
Design, launch, measure and evaluate marketing campaigns in different regions
Pro-actively look for innovative ways to optimize performance in the best interest of B.com
Understand the business impact of each decision and be responsible for it
Share best practices, and coordinate regional efforts to drive a consistent global agenda
Prioritize KPIs, and create reporting framework to measure global success
Analyze, create, present business cases/best practices with teams and managers for touchpoints / product improvements, and drive focus on high quality app partnerships
Summarize, and communicate in a comprehensive way with Partnerships Leadership team for important business decisions, including but not limited to partner requirements, external factors, market landscape, legal concerns and potential risks
Work alongside multiple stakeholders (legal, financial, app track, engineering, marketing) to facilitate decision making with full transparency, amongst the right teams, resulting in measurable and actionable plans.
5+ years’ experience in media buying, product (marketing) management,startups, app advertising or ad / affiliate networks.
Experience in A/B and incrementality testing frameworks
Well experienced working with/using MMP (Mobile Measurement Partner) at least a desired attribute.
Master degree or higher in an analytical focused degree such as Economics, Engineering, Science, etc.
Fluent in English, written and spoken, any other language a plus
Excellent ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
A creative approach to problem solving; always looking for improvements to the way things are done
Knowledge of common tracking pitfalls and fraud practices
True data curiosity and the ability to derive new insights
Ability (or demonstrated willingness) to learn SQL, advanced Excel user
