    Sr. Marketing Manager - EMEA

    Position Summary
    The Sr. Marketing Manager - EMEA will be responsible to define and support the EMEA and country growth strategies, leverage cross-divisional workflows and execute its regional digital enablement strategy.

    To enable our growth aspiration towards 2030, our focus is oriented on how to elevate improvements in our One Thermo Fisher Scientific customer experience.

    This position reports into the Senior Marketing Director – EMEA

    Location/Division Specific Information
    This position is located within the EMEA regional Marketing team at Thermo Fisher and will partner closely with the Corporate Marketing & Strategy team in the USA and the regional divisional Marketing teams as well and Country Commercial teams.

    What will you do

    • Leverage Market Insights to focus on the key priorities to drive regional and country growth in areas like cell & gene therapy, vaccines, molecular diagnostics, green deal, contract testing labs, …
    • Converting customer needs into meaningful one company value propositions and related digital commercial tools to further improve the customer experience
    • Create cross-divisional customer workflow journeys
    • Build & scale our One Thermo Fisher branding at (virtual) congresses and events
    • Drive knowledge exchange across divisions, leverage best practices in digital marketing, data science, SEO, eBusiness and immersive experiences
    • Define the Marketing learning curriculum needs for the EMEA region to build for continued success in the future
    • Deliver on defined metrics such as project management and budget

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Newly created role, ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter
    • Proven track record in project management in a matrix organization, managing by influence is crucial for success
    • Excellent business acumen in digital marketing
    • Affinity with data science is considered a plus
    • Ability to explain complex technical approaches in clear language
    • Excellent planning and execution skills with proven ability to drive results
    • Effective communicator (verbal, written and presentation), with a demonstrated ability to influence through a straight-forward style of communication

    Education

    • Bachelors degree in Marketing Management or Digital Marketing Management
    • MBA is a plus

    Experience

    • 5 years of experience in a marketing role with demonstrated core competences in digital marketing and creating value propositions
    • Scientific/pharma/medtech industry experience preferred
    • Proven track record of bringing teams together successfully, creating a one company marketing culture
    • Fluency in English, other languages knowledge of German and/or French is a plus
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MSOffice, Adobe Creative Cloud and digital Marketing tools for segmentation, campaign management, analytics (are a plus)
    • Beyond pandemic, travel up to 25% of the time
