    Your role is to lead and drive the facilities operations programs and processes; maintaining our lab infrastructure and the office build-outs at our Benelux offices also leading and driving other Places related projects. All ensuring timely delivery of clearly defined scope within budget. This with the goal to support the business to the best


    Your Impact

    • Innovating and improving processes and scopes. Driving efficiencies and effectiveness

    • Coaching and development of the Facilities team in the Benelux

    • Working with ultimately every employee and translating company culture, values, and strategies into practical application for the workplace

    • Building year plans and objectives that support our company strategy and business needs

    • Driving the change in our AMS office towards FLEXWORK. Experience in implementing new office concepts

    • Partner effectively with key groups such as IT, SAS, Procurement, Finance, and the People team. Maintain regular communications with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all concerned parties are well informed on relevant topics.

    • Sourcing local services and goods needed to perform day to day operations through 3rd party suppliers. This in strong cooperation with our US based procurement team

    • Executing professional supplier management

    • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences. This job requires you to be reachable outside working hours for emergencies

    • Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement

    • Planning best allocation and utilisation of space and resources. Short and mid term.

    • Implementing existing or new (global) processes/policies/procedures

    • Executing tenders. From preparing tender documents to signing off contracts in line with company policies and with involvement of right stakeholders and onboarding vendors

    • Having good knowledge of relevant Workplace Law and regulations

    • Developing and implementing sustainable ideas and solutions

    • Participating in or leading global project groups within the Places department

    • Understanding the impact you have on our carbon footprint and waste contribution, and knowing how to minimize this


    Qualifications


    Your Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years experience ensuring continuity of operations and maintenance /repairs in offices and lab spaces

    • Developing, directing, coordinating and planning essential central services such as maintenance/repairs, mail, shipping/receiving archiving, cleaning, food, waste disposal and recycling

    • Professional supplier management in a corporate/commercial environment

    • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences. This job requires you to be reachable outside working hours for emergencies

    • Planning best allocation and utilisation of space, resources and office concepts. Short and mid term

    • Executing tenders. From preparing tender documents to signing off contracts in line with company policies and with involvement of right stakeholders and onboarding vendors

    • Project management (hard-, soft services and construction projects) and supervising and coordinating the work of contractors, ensure minimum disruption to core activities

    • Bachelor's Degree
