    Location/Division Specific Information

    This role is based at our Tilburg, Netherlands facility.

    Tilburg is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Pharma Services business and focused on the development and commercial manufacture of Softgel products for clients in the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Healthcare industries.

    How will you make an impact?

    As leader of the Tilburg Business Management team, be the voice of the client, ensuring that we deliver on our Softgel commitments through teamwork and outstanding customer service.

    As a member of the Tilburg leadership team, work together with your peers to ensure achievement of annual and longer-term financial goals and business objectives.

    What will you do?

    • Lead the client business relationships, representing client interests in the Tilburg business and ensuring prompt issue resolution
    • Support Sales, Quotes and Contracts teams in winning new Softgel projects and products for the Tilburg business
    • Ensure that all client MSA contractual terms are implemented, including forecasting, delivery performance, annual pricing, delivery and payment terms and renewals.
    • Coordinate interactions between departments to ensure successful introduction of new R&D and Technology Transfer products
    • Support the R&D organization with development project issue resolution and change of scope pricing discussions
    • Take responsibility for managing client escalations using, where appropriate, the Customer Experience Management program
    • Lead and provide the direction of the Tilburg Business Management function, ensuring effective achievement of the agreed goals and objectives
    • Generate and execute development plans for direct reports
    • Participate in and/or lead strategic initiatives related to Softgels or the wider Pharma Services business

    How will you get here?

    Education and Experience

    • University Degree in Science, Finance and/or Business required
    • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred
    • A demonstrated track record of success in the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Healthcare or related industry (equivalent to 10+ years).
    • Broad business experience including R&D, Operations, Project Management, Business Development, Finance and Quality
    • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    • In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and outsourcing
    • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
    • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
    • Well organized and detail oriented.
    • A strong client and internal relationship builder in a matrixed organization
