    Sr IRM Compliance and Assurance Advisor

    Shell is hiring a IRM and Compliance Advisor role in the IT Infrastructure organization who will be responsible for mitigating IRM risks and maintaining globally compliant measures in the Connectivity space.

    What’s the role?

    As an IRM and Compliance Advisor, you will review/assess and ensure new service delivery projects comply with IRM requirements and that these projects take a proactive approach towards implementation of IRM controls and ensure risk based information security reviews of projects are performed to ensure they meet good security architectural & design principles, and ensure ongoing compliance with all requirements and guidelines during and after completion of the project and transition to support.

    You will also support the ITSO Risk Managers in education, awareness and communication of IT security issues and risks; as well as provide steer and influence of behavior of staff as part of mitigating these risks and Take on a leadership role to ensure and provide assurance of ITSO compliance with the Group OneIT Security Framework.

    What we need from you?

    • Substantial experience in IRM or Information Security related roles or previous experience working with IRM in an IT Delivery/Project Management role
    • Strong understanding of IRM & Controls processes including Risk Assessment, Risk Acceptance, Controls Selection and Threat and Vulnerability assessment
    • Certification on COBIT and/or ISO 27001/2 framework is essential for a candidate to perform this role
    • Advanced understanding of the internal and external IT security standards, and relevant legal compliance aspects
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • We’re keen to hear from IT professionals who have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent work experience.
