For the development and execution of the Janssen Supply Chain Quality – Quality Data and Metrics Reporting within the Janssen Supply Chain Quality organization, we are looking for and experienced
Specialist Quality Insights
The Specialist Quality Insights will be responsible for analyzing Quality data and metrics information for the JSC Quality organization. This includes extracting performance indicating data from systems used by the JSC Quality teams, visualizing and analyzing the data, and preparing data reports. The candidate will assist in the preparation of Quality Management Review, periodic Quality metric and performance reporting, and Reliability data analysis and reporting. In addition, he/she will identify trends and patterns in the data, analyze causality and formulate improvement proposals.
In this position, the candidate will develop a coordinated, consistent and automated approach to collect Quality data. Subsequently, the incumbent will create and generate ad-hoc data analysis and reports supporting the operational Janssen Supply Chain Quality teams. You will align Quality data and metric analysis with key programs which support the Pharmaceutical Quality Strategy, such as Cost of Quality optimization, Integrated Quality, Transformational Quality.
Building relationships with global groups such as Business Excellence and Planning, and operational Quality teams is central. Collaboration with these groups will enable us to standardize, automate and optimize data collection and visualization from Quality Systems. In doing so, we will timely deliver high-quality and reliable Quality data and metrics to our customers, and to find opportunities where data and analytics solutions can help drive business solutions. We seek a creative problem solver who collaborates with business partners to bring forth new ideas, challenge the status quo, and deliver innovation to enable our business through the effective use of data intelligence, data analytics, data modeling & visualization techniques.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other scientific field is required; an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in industry is preferred.
Solid understanding of data systems, data visualization and data analytics (statistics, modeling techniques) is required, in addition to profound experience with Microsoft environment as well as with statistical software tools. Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to draft, align, and drive structured technical writing is required.
The successful candidate will have outstanding problem-solving and collaboration skills to identify and evaluate problems or opportunities based on data, and to formulate findings and proposals in written and oral form.
Broad and sound experience with Pharmaceutical Quality Systems (e.g. Trackwise) and reporting/visualization software (e.g. Tableau) is required. Financial savvy, intuition for business, and experience in data analytics (eg. Python, R) tools and methodology is helpful.
Knowledge of the business environment inside a quality and supply chain organization across various roles (e.g., Quality operations, Quality Systems, Manufacturing, Technical Operations) is an asset.
Sound experience in translating and presenting technical data and metrics-related insights and strategies across all levels of the organization is essential for this role. Handling multiple priorities, maintaining confidentiality, and operating with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, matrixed and constantly evolving environment is required.
This position will be located at or close to a global Janssen Supply Chain site in Malvern, PA; Latina, Italy; Cork, Ireland; Schaffhausen, Switzerland; Leiden, The Netherlands; Beerse or Geel, Belgium. This position may require sporadic travel.
