The role as Solution Architect @Atos

The Solution Architect is engaged mainly in the bidding phase of the sales pursuit service and is responsible for developing technical solution (including IT architecture design and costing) which respond to the business requirements of the customers in the most cost-effective and innovative manner.

For our offers we work with many practices (for example: Data, IoT, Application, Security etc). Your role is to have an end to end vision on the technical aspect and work together with all involved business solutions. All solutions we build are based on a platform and not on a specific project. The area’s you work in are: Retail, Logistics, Transport and Hospitality.

You participate in a global team which is divided over several countries. Moreover, you work closely to sales, consulting and portfolio part (based on the specific solutions).

Your tasks

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (G)CEPs, account managers, business developers, industry portfolio managers, bid teams etc.) to analyze client requirements & how to address them effectively
Participate in bid team briefings meetings, tender documentation, commercial submissions, internal approvals and contract negotiations
Design state-of-the-art vertical solutions tailored to the specific client needs & aligned with RFP prerequisites
Ensure the technical feasibility of the solution & the efficiency of the delivery model in coordination with industry operations (timeline, costs & fit to needs)
Ensure alignment & consistency of design with Atos portfolio and service delivery capabilities

Who are you?

Master or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
More than 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect with a strong background in applications;
You have a proven track record and vision on DevOps. Furthermore, you are familiar with working in a DevOps organization;
Has worked in Agile teams;
You have analytical, leadership and team-working skills. In addition, you are able

to challenge peers as well as internal processes and decisions

Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills. Preferably a second language (Dutch) as well.
