About the Role

Uber's marketing teams play a critical role in establishing deep connections with the markets and communities in which we operate. This is a unique opportunity to lead social media for Uber in EMEA, as part of the growing global Social Media team, putting you at the heart of our business-impacting both the Uber and Uber Eats brands. You will work at the intersection of global and country teams, shaping our social presence in the EMEA region.
What You'll Do
Global work - As the bridge between global and local teams; translate the global strategy for EMEA markets, input into global social creative briefs and creative toolkits
Social Calendars - Manage the regional social editorial calendars and ensure the integration of local marketing initiatives into these
Content development - Coordinate social content development for our key markets and lead the content development process with our EMEA social agency
Measurement - Report on performance indicators like brand favorability and trust on a monthly basis for our key markets, and explain the implications of results to craft the work accordingly.
Processes - Implement global processes, tooling, and best practices
Integration with brand marketing: Liaise with the EMEA brand and country marketing managers to optimize campaign creatives for social channels
Agency management - handle the regional relationship with our social agency, ensuring consistency in approach and process across EMEA.
At least 4+ years of experience working with social media channels and working on creative and innovative social media campaigns preferably in a fast-paced environment
Strong project management skills, experience with managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
The ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment
Experience working for a global brand or matrixed organization
Deep understanding of how brands should use social to show up authentically
Specialist in developing social marketing strategies that are native to each channel and that can deliver tangible results
Experience being a great partner with external and internal agencies/design teams to brief and lead original content
Ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to inform decision making
At the groundbreaking of social trends and culture, knowing how to credibly and sensitively harness them while maintaining brand safety and values
Deep understanding of how paid and organic content and strategies work together
