We’re looking for a Social Media Creative to join our team. The #1 goal of this role is to improve the visual online experience of the brand whilst influencing new ideas creation.
As our social media creative, you think in quirky designs and catchy one-liners, are curious and investigative and have your own ideas of what defines good social content. You’ll partner with the global marketing team to gain insights to help inform the angle, ideas and content.
This role will be responsible for the creative concepting and design production of all global social media communication, and help out in market-specific communication. This is your first dedication, but being part of the bigger Creative Team means getting down and dirty in other creative projects. Because, like we all know: everything is connected and intertwined.
This role is part of the global team based in Amsterdam and reports to the Creative Lead.
Ready to raise the bar with us? Here’s what you’ll do:
Huddle up with fellow Tony’s from the Movement Team and develop creative concepts for our global campaigns, focussing on surprising, Only Tony’s ideas.
Produce Tony’s Style visuals that are striking, recognisable and knock over any purple cow around.
Sharpen your pen and come up with copy that does justice to your great desings.
Develop the visual side of Tony’s social strategy together with the Team and Brand Guru.
Sink your teeth into home made photography and videography for our social channels, with one eye on quality and the other on practicalities.
Partner with the team and your lead to ensure the content is on (or even beyond) brand and your work follows the general marketing and communication strategies and Tony’s Style.
Provide a clear direction and feedback to your fellow Tony’s, with a smile and a positive, can-do attitude.
Identify social trends so you’re always on the ball and spread the word to the team so we’re always on the ball.
the ideal candidate
5+ years of experience creating social media content on concept and copy as well, ideally for FMCG brands.
Social media holds no secrets for you. IG Stories, UGC spotlights, videos, GIFs, memes.. they get you as excited as apple pie does your mum.
You're up to speed on social trends, know what's coming up, are inquisitive and like experimenting with formats and channels. You're the first to discover a new platform, though you are always critical on what works and what doesn't. You want to talk with our Choco fans, not to them.
You understand why sometimes you have to spend hours on a word joke to get it just right, and why sometimes you can set up a campaign concept in 10 minutes.
Your fingers itch to create videos + photography, and your brain for creating striking concepts, spot-on copy, and the production of visuals for all our key channels.
You can think from social-led content but want to learn to always do that in a unique Tony's way, avoiding creating things 'because we can' and 'because other brands do it this way, too'. Sharing our story should always be at the core of what you do.
