    Snr. Director of Business Optimization (Position located in Utrecht, Netherlands)

    The Snr. Director of Business Optimization (Local Office) is responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the local office. This position helps to make sure sufficient on the job training is provided to get new employees up to speed and reduce confusion and inefficiency. The individual in this role keeps all employees up to date on new changes in policy, procedure and the platform and will work to ensure the execution of HQ directives and OKRs and work toward the overall optimization of the local office and its products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Be fully aware of KB4 policy and procedure and know how it should be followed. If a policy or a procedure for a local problem doesn't exist, work out and develop policy and/or procedure, send it through the approval line, and then pilot it's implementation, and track success.
    • Ensure that any policies or procedure are read and understood by all employees
    • Monitor implemented procedures, processes and workflows to ensure utilization and success
    • Be in tight communication with the Global Sector Heads on directives for the local office, ensuring alignment of HQ directives at the local level. Be a unifying source of all directives to ensure no conflict between different areas
    • Meet with the Global Sector Heads quarterly to understand the OKRs for the following quarter and make sure your OKRs align to supporting and forwarding those
    • Keep up to date on the all Objectives and Key Results and Projects of KnowBe4 HQ
    • Ensure optimization of the operations to streamline execution locally of HQ objectives and local OKRs.
    • Continually keep a finger on the pulse of the weekly statistics for all areas in the local office and stay in tight coordination with the HQ global head on what you are seeing and help inspect to debug problems as necessary
    • Improve organizational workflows with the local executives to help them execute HQ objectives, and help resolve potential local resource conflicts
    • Make sure the local sectors on the org chart are working together smoothly and efficiently to attain objectives and goals. Ensure internal departmental workflows are moving on an immediate basis to get production
    • Propose and develop long-term workflow changes, implement and monitor their function
    • Ensure each area of the local office is "organized to produce", meaning they have all the tools and support they need to function and attain their objectives. Debug as necessary to ensure they can execute
    • Facilitate in implementing major new projects that are being initiated at KB4 HQ into the local office
    • Provide genuine recommendations as to the firing, promotion, and discipline of employees in the local office to which the organization gives significant weight.
    • Conduct surveys in each of the areas to identify gaps or deficiencies in workflows and processes
    • Recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness using workflow diagrams, forms and procedural documentation
    • Create flowcharts before processes are created to ensure the workflows make sense and will create maximum efficiency
    • Perform statistical analysis of historical data related to overall results in each of the area of the local office to locate areas of inefficiency and propose and implement programs to correct
    • Utilize gap analysis to identify barriers to hyper growth and propose and implement programs for improvement
    • Train all employees on new policy and procedures that pertain to their area
    • Be available to answer any policy or procedure questions

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Six Sigma or related work experience
    • 3+ years experience with organizing and optimizing organizations for production
    • 3+ years experience in debugging workflows and issues to production
    • Experience with organizing and coordinating 25 or more personnel in various areas of the organization
    • Experience working in a SaaS salesforce and/or in the IT Security space a plus
    • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
    • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
    • Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
    • Strong understanding of IT
    • Experience with system implementation
    • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
    • Ability to identify and process the correct organizational sequence for workflows to increase efficiency
    • Ability to simplify information down to its fundamentals for dissemination organization wide
    • Ability to do gap analyses to identify gaps and inefficiencies
    • Ability to see and determine proper orders of priority
    • Strong verbal and written communications
