We are looking for an experienced Service Manager in Breda who will be responsible for managing all activities for Lifecycle Services throughout the Netherlands and Belgium to internal & external customers. This includes all Final Control Products and may even extend to Automation Solutions Products as well. As Service Manager you ensure that the service provided is of the highest quality and meets customer expectations.
Business Management of Service Center
Direct and manage the Service department as self-contained profit and loss service center across a complete scope of Final Control product lifecycle services
Responsible for capital investment appropriation planning
Locally develop, forecast and execute annual business plans that align with the overall Lifecycle Services business and financial plan and ensure its effective implementation across all locations under responsibility
Sales Planning and Execution and Marketing
Work closely with the BeNeLux sales offices and end-customers in developing and capturing new business and new customer opportunities
Ensure effective price management of all services and products
Manage and track sales channel and end-customer satisfaction in ensuring Final Control Service is clearly differentiated from local competition and excels in service fulfillment
Operation Planning and Execution
Complete responsibility for all operational aspects of repair and service – including embedded service operations, shutdown/turnaround/outage (STO) operations and day-to-day/emergency service interventions. This includes in-house, sub-contracted, as well as services at the customer location, for the manufacture / reconditioning of Emerson, as well as competitor, replacement parts and product
Responsible for quality control and best practice implementation of all site service work performed including application of customer specifications, safety codes, and applicable Emerson Engineering Standards
Development and implementation of productivity / cost reduction plans through application of lean service principles, methodologies, and tools
Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of technician and equipment resources across BeNeLux sites, while leveraging the European operations capabilities
Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment(s) and ensuring all service site managers and employees adhere to internal policies, and appropriate legislations
Overall responsibility for employee relations following Emerson human resources policies
Locally ensure a continuous development effort in growing the areas human resource skill base through training, recruitment and retention practices and programs
Bachelor’s or equivalent level of education (Technical background)
5 + years hands proven experience in line / people management role
Business minded and commercial skills & Entrepreneurial spirit
Customer Focus and ability to develop relations on international / managerial level

Structured, transparent approach
Vision and ability to communicate this on multiple levels
Experience with large international organizations
Background / knowledge of process industry
Fluent in English and Dutch language
