    Job Purpose


    The purpose of the Treasury and Insurance Operations team is to manage the daily operations of Treasury and Insurance. It is the center where all Treasury activities come together: execution of external/intercompany business payments, validation/settlement external FX contracts, settlement intercompany loans and external guarantees to support local business.



    The key objective is to have efficient, effective and controlled execution of transaction processes at the lowest possible cost for both Treasury and Insurance. The challenge is to deliver on this ambition in a dynamic environment; dealing with constant changes in the organization, people, processes and systems. It requires an adaptive and client focused attitude, looking for continuous improvements.

    Key Accountabilities


    • Support the Manager Operations with leading the team to ensure that the daily back-office processes of Treasury and Insurance are executed in the most efficient, effective and controlled way, outperforming the internal SLAs and customer expectations;
    • Be the business partner for the GBS / retained finance shared services organizations;
    • Provide necessary training and manuals to the regional treasuries, GBS and SSC’s;
    • Ensure adherence to internal and external relevant regulations (e.g. EMIR, Dodd-Frank) and pro-actively prepare the organization for regulatory changes;
    • Provide insights via KPI’s and reports on operational metrics and cash positions;
    • Tender support in internal and external audits;
    • Support the follow-up on (non-financial) audit findings;
    • Provide key insights on financial risks (i.e. liquidity, counterparty, FX, interest and funding risk) on group level to top management by means of monthly and ad hoc reporting. Ensure consistent high quality of timely, reliable and relevant information. Bring reporting to best-in-class standards;
    • Managing Swift / SAP Treasury interface releasing authorized payment instructions to banks;
    • Execute quarterly customer satisfaction survey and follow-up on the feedback ;
    • Monitor and report process issues;
    • Participate in M&A, improvement projects.

    Experience


    • A pro-active team player with a continuous improvement mentality, strong analytical skills and able to deal effectively with competing priorities in line with preset daily deadlines;
    • At least 3-5 years of back office finance operations experience in business finance, corporate companies, insurance company or banks;
    • Proven knowledge of Sap Treasury;
    • Finance Background and education at University Level;
    • Fluent in the use of both oral and written English;
    • Strong ‘hands-on’ mentality. The individual has a “can do” mentality and shows enthusiasm for the profession.
