The 2 x Senior Project Managers will help to drive the talent acquisition strategy aligned to Booking.com’s business objectives by working on key initiatives in different areas of content and geographies. In this role the project manager will coordinate & manage (a portfolio of) complex business critical initiatives that may span across multiple departments, domains and/or geographies.
The 2 x Senior Project Managers will have end to end responsibility from scoping, budgeting, to the overall execution and implementation of a project, including stakeholder management, collaborating on staffing the project, driving issue resolution, and initiating the needed change management
Both Senior Project Managers will work closely with people of diverse functional backgrounds (a.o. People, Product & Tech, Finance experts, Operational Excellence, Reporting, Learning & Development, Partner Services, and other functions within Booking.com).
Plan, prepare, structure and lead project/change management activities
Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Engage stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
Collaborate with stakeholders on the design, development and delivery of projects and manage communication.
Enables team members & leaders from involved departments to make quality decisions
Collaborates with cross functional team to identify & build action plans to improve the impact & experience for our customers, our business and our people (creating win-win)
Hold each member of the project accountable for the delivery of their part of the project
Engage stakeholders at all levels inside and outside of the organisation
Provides structure that increases strength of the Recruitment project management capabilities within other teams (e.g. agile methodology, processes & tools; structure documentation, communication for scalability & development of best practices)
A solid understanding of how people go through the change curve and the change process
Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
