The Senior Manager reports directly to the Director, Global Operations CTI and will have responsibility as a people manager and for partnering with fellow Global Operations team members, and Health Care Compliance (HCC) Leaders and Officers. Close collaboration with sector Corporate Business Technology (CBT) and sector Information Technology (IT) partners is essential to implement plans for global or regional HCC innovative solutions to support key HCC processes such as risk assessment and management, monitoring, third party intermediary due diligence, transaction management and transparency reporting.
Provides expertise and input into the design, implementation and maintenance of compliance related technology to support the EMEA region and, in certain instances, on a global scale. This includes solutions that support HCC activities and approvals, ensuring adequate documentation to meet compliance obligations, such as reporting requirements.
Leads day-to-day activities of CTI staff members, including coaching and mentoring
Partners with HCC, as appropriate, to ensure that systems and related processes meet policies, guidance and regulatory requirements
Bridge and partner with other functional areas such as: Corporate Business Technology (CBT), Business Unit IT (BUIT), Global Finance, Data Science & Risk Management, Global Assessment and Consulting Services, Transparency, Global Policy, Training and Communication, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Privacy, etc. on strategic direction and tactical execution, and implementation of technology solutions within EMEA and, in certain instances, on a global scale
Serve as a resource for users seeking to deploy and improve the benefits of the various system applications and capabilities to enable HCC processes and workflows.
Drives day to day business results through implementation of the CTI strategy, across sectors, working closely with HCC Officers and Operating Company employees.
Contribute to the strategic direction and business plans for the Global CTI Regional Support Leadership Team.
Act as a point of contact and CTI subject matter authority for projects and the EMEA HCC Project Management Lead

Education & experience:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
8 years of work experience required, preferably 3 of which are in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries.
3 years of line managerial experience preferred
Experience leading sophisticated systems-related projects including system governance is required
Experience and shown leadership in HCC or related compliance/risk management function (Regulatory, Quality, Finance, IT) is preferred
Preferred experiences also include project management, and the ability to collaborate across functions and/or across sectors, proven leadership in IT-related functions or programs
Required technical knowledge & skills:
Experience collecting and assessing User Requirements, for new and decommissioning systems, is required.
Experience working with, implementing and running systems is required
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and critical issues simultaneously is required
Demonstrated ability to build and support strong, positive relationships with internal and external partners and to influence and collaborate is required
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations skills is required
Special training or certification:
Project management preferred
Process Excellence training/certification preferred
Knowledge of HCC, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Privacy regulations, Financial or auditing practices is preferred
