The Senior Manager of Cloud and Full Stack Development provides critical direction for the strategic management and development of enterprise-level cloud and full stack solutions. The position reports to the Director – Global Technology Services, the individual will partner closely with business function leaders and enable value driven solution implementations for all forms of business outcomes. This individual will lead teams to design, architect and deliver large-scale global software solutions, services or technologies. The portfolio includes cloud native development, APIs, custom web, SharePoint, Low-code/No-code (MS Power Platform), RPA (Automation Anywhere) applications implementation.
This individual should possess strong interpersonal and team leadership skills and have the ability to communicate upward. This individual must possess strong skills in various technology disciplines and platforms (Cloud Native development, Agile, SDLC methodologies) and have deep understanding of large scale system architecture.
Team composition includes employees, contractors and third-party partners. The employee base averages 13-18, offshore team averages 5-10, and contractor base averages 5-10 depending on the projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Demonstrate proven track record of leadership with experience managing large or multiple teams, including budgeting, strategic planning, technical direction, and staff coaching/mentoring.
Lead team in solution development, design and architectural processes related to Cloud, Custom web, SharePoint and RPA applications.
Create a shared vision and build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships / alignment with partners across the business.
Lead large, complex projects with multiple work streams with significant risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution.
Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements.
Collaborate with product owners to understand future business needs and strategic leadership processes to provide a technical strategy
Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business alignment with team, leadership chain, and with customers.
Collaborate with major partners such as Microsoft and others and develop roadmap and strategy.
Create a culture of collaboration and solution mindset where teams feel empowered to learn, innovate, test and iterate.
Foster an environment of strong ethics, excellence, morale, leadership and teamwork.
Oversee and take accountability for applications while providing strategy and direction for portfolio.
10+ years’ experience as an established leader of software development teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products.
Experience with robotic process automation technologies and implementation of processes surrounding the technologies.
Experience with low-code / no-code technologies and implementation of processes surrounding the technologies.
Experience with Agile development and methodologies and SaaS and/or mobile technologies.
Experience working with Azure or other cloud computing solutions
Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective implementation teams.
Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and driving to alignment on technology direction
Adept at articulating the product vision and driving the future roadmap with strong business acumen. Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders
Possesses strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
Strong technical skills with the ability to contribute and review architectures, design and code.
Capability to envision, architect and deliver quality integrated and value driven solutions
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field of study.
Master's degree preferred.
Background in mergers, acquisitions or divesture activities a plus.
Experience with agile and product management processes
Cloud expertise with a focus on Azure PAAS Micro services architecture
