    Senior Global Benefits Analyst

    This is part of a wider global business transformation. The travel sector has been decimated during COVID however due to its strong global brand and reputation Booking.com’s share price remains stable. The business is cash rich and forecasting a growth in market share post COVID. We are seeing the domestic travel markets begin to open, fingers crossed, followed by the international markets soon as vaccinations are rolled out.


    Senior Global Benefits Analyst

    The Senior Global Benefits Analyst supports the global benefits team with the management of all employee benefits programs and projects. The role will report directly into the Global Benefits Manager and collaborate closely with the regional C&B Managers across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. The Senior Global Benefits Analyst helps to ensure smooth operation and roll outs of local and global benefit programs, including insured and non-insured benefits, leaves, as well as health & wellbeing benefits. The Analyst will support in global and local benefits design and policy development, communication to key stakeholders and employees, and drive the implementation of our benefits in our systems (e.g. Workday). This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across and beyond HR, as well as with external partners such as brokers, consultants or benefits providers. While the role has a global scope, we are looking for someone with experience in APAC to additionally support our benefits programs and projects across that region.


    Responsibilities

    • Support the global and regional benefits team in managing employee benefit programs and projects across 70+ countries and four regions
    • Take ownership of global benefit and wellbeing programs and processes and drive improvement and employee engagement
    • Ensure local and global benefits programs remain compliant with local legislation, competitive with local and global job markets and aligned with Booking’s total rewards strategy.
    • Manage existing benefit providers and brokers and support in global or local benefit renewal processes and negotiations across multiple locations
    • Lead or support global and regional rollouts of new benefits programs and ensure effective implementation and communication
    • Support implementation of new benefits and improvement of existing benefits in Workday
    • Partner closely with APAC C&B manager to support APAC benefits related programs and projects
    • Support the global benefits team on other activities such as planning and budgeting, reporting, governance and stakeholder management
    • Regular benchmarking and monitoring of market-competitiveness of programs. Keep updated on current trends in benefits and wellbeing in the workplace, and constantly assess and propose new ideas for Booking.com
    • Track key success indicators for the benefits offerings and monitor progress and success of benefits addressing the employee’s and business’s needs. Regular review of processes and utilisation of programs to find efficiencies and make necessary changes.
    • Work closely with business leaders and teams across and beyond HR to effectively manage the global benefits portfolio.

    Skills / Experience

    • Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in global employee benefits management in an international organization
    • Strong understanding of global benefits practices & regulations (especially EMEA & APAC)
    • Experience in designing and rolling out global benefit policies
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills while working closely with regional and global teams.
    • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, able to drive projects with minimal supervision across complex organizational, systems, and regulatory landscape
    • Ability to thrive in our fast-paced, challenging, and international environment
    • Creative problem-solving skills and data-driven approach
    • Experience in managing benefits and absences in Workday
