    Senior Designer

    You are the designer for our Payment services. Millions of people, customers and business clients, use these services in our banking app to do their daily banking. Together with your colleagues your working on the designs for new or improving existing Payments services. It will be your challenge to design the best possible digital customer experience for our clients for these services. For example the customer experience of payment request or credit cards or new financial products and services. There will be a variety of opportunities as it will be possible to rotate between different products and services. You share our aspiration to only deliver our clients the highest quality. For all of our products and services we have the ambition to help our clients live financially healthy lives. Are you the designer that brings our banking products to the next online level?

    You will become part or our unique Design Chapter that serves the entire organization. Together we help to shape the bank's design transformation and grow our design competency. We are an ambitious team, with a brand new internal design study, that is building an incomparable design culture within one of the biggest banks in the Netherlands.     Your impact

    • You have at least five years of experience in UX design and confidently take responsibility and ownership of large, complex design projects.

    • You shape vision and strategy and can make this tangible by translating it to visuals and designs. • You are able to translate complex problems into simple and intuitive solutions.

    • You deliver final designs and support the development teams to implement them.

    • You will be collaborating in a multidisciplinary team with developers, marketers and other stakeholders that is exploring a new space. You will actively contribute to setting up the right processes in which the customer is always central

    • Your work is inspired by customer insights and you collect customer data to create the best possible experiences by excellent designs for our payment services

    • You conveniently maneuver through large organisations and know how to get support for your ideas and concepts.

    Our way of working is collaborative. The designers of the design chapter join forces to build coherent and delightful customer experiences for all Rabobank customers. Once you join as a designer, we’ll be a team of 50 designers with a wide variety of skills and knowledge.

    As a Senior Designer, you will help Rabobank to enter new markets, discover new revenue streams and will deliver the best experience for our clients, partners and developers. We are looking for someone that understands these complex challenges and is both a strategic thinker and a creator of pixel-perfect designs. You keep up to speed with the developments and challenges within the financial sector and like to investigate new technologies. You explore and develop innovative ideas that give direction to our products and services. Throughout this process, the client and the end-customer play a central role and you continuously validate your work by looking through their eyes. You work together with strategists, product owners, developers and marketers and use mock-ups, prototypes and playbooks to visualize your process and engage the colleagues around you. You validate your ideas digitally or in our state-of-the art Design Studio and can help the developers to implement your designs the way they are intended. You are always looking for new ways to add unique value to the Rabobank customer experience.
