    SA are currently working on this great opportunity for a Senior Consultant with dedicated expertise on IBM Planning Analytics to join a well-established consulting firm in the IBM niche.

    As the market awakens post Covid shutdown, the Planning Analytics market is particularly busy and the team here are looking to bolster the consulting division with a proven TM1 professional with a keen interest in working within a dynamic culture of passionate TM1ers. You will be gaining access to all the latest and greatest technologies around the Planning Analytics stack, both from IBM and aftermarket.

    This role is suited to an established consultant who may wish for a more flexible work environment, a flat management structure and access to a long list of the best TM1 clients across the region. You will also have the support of the global teams, who support a wider TM1 community, in which you will be able to share and foster new ideas. Even if you have been freelancing but feel you are static in career development, maybe you may consider a move back to a permanent role to be part of a team and to have a company invest in you, rather than seeing you as a cost!

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Lead TM1/ Planning Analytics projects end-to-end across clients, supporting greenfield projects, migrations and development of existing solutions
    • Implementing inhouse developed products on client projects, identifying opportunities to do so and sharing with the commercial teams
    • Be the authority for clients and junior consultants on all development topics in TM1/ Planning Analytics (building cubes, TIs, rules, feeders etc.)
    • Carry out requirements analysis and create functional and technical designs, be the Architect and Project Manager all-in-one
    • Advise and challenge clients on the design and roll out - guide them through the change process
    • Train and support others within the team

    Candidate Profile:

    • 5+ years of hands-on TM1/ Planning Analytics consulting or managing projects inhouse in international groups
    • Strong knowledge of business planning domains e.g. FP&A, Supply Chain, Production, HR and Sales
    • Comfortable leading projects as a design authority and in coordinating with senior leadership on clients
    • Ideally experience with PAX and PAW
    • Wider experience of using ETL tools, data integration and DWH concepts
    • Experience of Cognos Analytics or similar reporting tools is beneficial
    • Further skills in Java, Javascript, HTML, Python are an advantage
    • Open-minded and eager to learn! Continuously curious!
    • Must have fluent English C1/ C2 level
