Senior Communications Advisor
The Global Centre of Expertise Communications & Brand Experience of ING is looking for a Senior Communications Professional as part of the expert team Content.
The Content team is part of the Area Internal and External Communications within ING’s Global Centre of Expertise Communications & Brand Experience, the department responsible for global corporate communication and branding. The Content team creates (written, video, audio) content for all in- and external channels.
How do we operate?
The team members work in multidisciplinary groups that focus on specific topics. Next to content experts these topic groups or squads consist of communication advisors, channel experts and branding specialists. Together with their stakeholders in the business they develop, implement and execute communication and branding projects that support ING’s strategy and maximise engagement with all internal and external stakeholders.
What will you do?
Your focus will be on strategic advice on and creation of content for key stakeholders in ING’s Wholesale Banking business such as the global management team and local businesses.
Together with other team members you will create presentations, speeches, vlogs, articles for our internal and external channels as well as all-staff emails from the head of Wholesale Banking;

Where will you sit?
You will be part of the expertise team Content and report to its expertise lead. You will spend most of your time working in the Wholesale Banking squad that is managed by its product owner.
Who are you?
You have at least 5 years of experience within media industry or at a large international organisation;
Fluent in English: you’re level is native or near native English and preferably you’re fluent in Dutch;
Creative: you have extensive experience in writing in a clear and easy way and you love thinking up engaging ways to tell a story to our various audiences using old and new media;
Curious: you want to know what’s happening at all levels in the company and you go the extra mile to pursue a story;
Confident: you don’t shy away from expressing your views or asking probing questions to anyone inside or outside the organisation;
Collaborative: creating content at ING is a team effort, you know how to work with different stakeholders and consider their interests;
Banky? Knowledge of the banking industry is nice-to-have, interest in financial services is a must-have.
