    Security Operations Professional

    Security professional who monitors and manages security for Canon EMEA on a daily basis.

    Day to day Handling of operational security management processes.

    • (Security) incident handling
    • Day to day running, troubleshooting and administration of security services such as IDS/IPS, Anti-Virus, URL filtering, anti-phishing, Advance Threat Protection etc.
    • Vulnerability scanning and remediation
    • Follow up on security audits and remediation
    • Security related SOX controls/reporting
    • Stakeholder in security related projects

    Manages and monitors efficient and effective implementation / execution / reporting of Security management:

    • KPIs, KRIs
    • Ensuring service level based on requirements of IT Quality & Governance & Information Security, monitoring the real time security Intelligence service to Prevent, Detect, Respond To, and Predict Cyberattacks
    • Monitoring dashboards to measure quality of the service
    • Creating monthly statistics with regards to security KPIs/KRIs

    Ensuring that security operations are within agreed service levels.

    Monitoring that Security is handled in a uniform way across the departments within Enterprise Operations

    Prioritizes and controls projects based on severity of risk and non-compliance; communicates control strengths and weaknesses to IT Quality & Governance & Information Security and collaborates to develop migration plans.

    Monitors that security assets/configuration items are up-to-date, maintenance contracts for critical hardware are in place and that software is compliant with license agreements

    Operational contact for external supplier(s) delivering (part of) the end-to-end service, including:

    • Functional service (interface) requirement specification
    • Service level definition and monitoring
    • Day-to-Day Operations with Suppliers contact persons

Deep knowledge and handson experience in security operations, mainly detect and response activity.
    Deep knowledge of vulnerability and threat management activities.
    Deep knowledge of security technology, mainly McAfee, Cisco, Infoblox, F5
    Deep Knowledge of ITIL on Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level and configuration management
    Professional understanding of risk management and risk based approach.
    Knowledge of service desk tooling
    Knowledge of Service towers and IT organisation
    Knowledge of process improvement and project management methodologies
    Strong analytical and decision making skills
    Understanding Canon Business processes and business organization
    Understanding of the Canon IT security policies and compliancy control framework
    CISSP or equivalent certified supplemented with at least three (3) years of experience in Information Technology security and compliance positions.
    Good understanding of business activities and it interaction with security.
