    Would you like to become a part of a crack security team? Work alongside other security experts in order to tackle modern security threats? Then we are looking for you to drive forward the security architecture for Canon business and technology driven initiatives.

    This exciting position will enable you to take ownership and accountability of the security domain of Canon Europe with its 18.000 end-users and lead the definition of its architecture.

    In this role as Security Architect you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and design decision making within a team of highly qualified professionals. You will also provide leadership and design advice to product IT teams shaping the product offerings of the future.

    You will work in an international programme organisation with 50 different nationalities and 650 people (on-site and offshore) which makes it a great place to work. You are part of an initiative to build a strong foundation for future growth to incorporate new business requirements into a standard best in class IT platform.

    Your key duties will be to;

    • Own, define and maintain as-is and target security domain architecture aligned to business and IT priorities.
    • Own, define and maintain a roadmap to achieve the target state for the security domain. Advising about industry standards and security guidelines

    • Proven experience within information security within security architecture, owning roadmaps and leading architecture
    • Professional experience with all aspects of an IT project from security requirements, security design through development, testing, implementation, and production.
    • Deep understanding of the security domain specific technologies and systems for domains such as:
      • Cloud (IAAS, PAAS and SAAS);
      • Networking and infrastructure;
      • Threat and vulnerability management;
      • Identity & Access Management;
    • Passionate about security and be well informed about emerging security technologies
    • Understanding of security standards (ISO27001, SANS, OWASP,) and experienced with security architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF/SABSA)
    • Ability to articulate the value of IT projects e.g. quantifying benefits.
    • Strong effective communication skills - both oral and written along with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business and have the ability to manage and influence key, senior stakeholders as required
