The Security officer is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the company security policies, systems and initiatives which supports the business. This accordance to company and project requirements and compliant with in and external law and regulations
Co-develop, execute, monitor and maintain the company security plan.
Drives the execution of the security plan, including all processes, procedures, risk assessments, method statements and documents to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. third parties).
Provides security advice to ensure the company (and projects) meets all contractual and company’s requirements.
Is responsible for accreditations including monitoring and reporting activities in accordance with applicable standards (i.e. ISO9001, ISO27001 ABDO2019).
Manage the internal audit processes and monitor the project to ensure legislative and company’s requirements are in place.
Ensure appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards are in place to protect company (and project) information assets from internal and external threats.
Identify and implement appropriate procedures, including checks and balances, are in place to test these safeguards on a regular basis.
Conduct and complete reviews and audits as required.
Coordinate third party(s) during external audit processes.
Produce and deliver staff instructions, training and briefings as identified by planned works, current best practice and changes in legislation to increase security awareness across the company.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant study at B.Sc. level in (information) security management.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar.
Experience with implementation of security control systems regarding ITAR, ABDO, ISO27001
Experience in hands-on in developing and strengthen security management system(s).
Experience with physical security systems like (CCTV, IDSS, ETS)
Good command of the Dutch, English language (written & verbal) German is an asset.
Ability to frequently travel long distances and work abroad.
